2023: Be ready to make history by electing first female Senator in Enugu State —Ada Ogbu 

 

Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Princess Ada Ogbu on Saturday attended the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) Enugu Diocese monthly meeting. 

 

Addressing the women, Ada Ogbu who is a member of the CWO, reeled out the motive behind her aspiration, stating that her reason for joining the race is to give ndi Enugu East a voice in the Senate.

 

She also reaffirmed her commitment to the CWO, promised to remain a member of the organisation.

 

The senatorial hopeful also beckoned on the women to be ready to make history by electing the first female senator from Enugu State in the person of High Princess Ada Ogbu.

 

The CWO women on their part, speaking through their President; Mrs Juliet Ani, appreciated her for the words of encouragement and prayed to God to grant them their good heart intention precisely as it concerns their political ambition.

 

The CWO president further affirmed that the numerous gestures of Princess Ada Ogbu towards them and society at large made them to come up with the idea of bestowing upon her the award/title of “ORIBE OCHETA NWANNE YA” and that it will be conferred on her soon.

 

Others in the event include; APC Guber Candidate; Chief Uchenna Nnaji Nwakaibie, APC State chairman, Hon Ugoo Agballa, APC House Of Representatives candidate for Enugu North/South; Hon. Juliet Egbo, among others.

 

Enugu Diocese Constitutes of Six Deaneries namely; Udi, Agbani, Emene, Aguobuwa, Nkwo Nike, Enugu Deanery.
