The Enugu State chapter of the African Democratic Congress ADC has expelled its Senatorial candidate for the last general elections for Enugu North Senatorial Zone.
The expulsion was announced during a recent State Executive Council meeting of the party in Enugu.
According to the State Chairman of the Party, Comrade Chukwuma Stella, the expulsion was necessitated by some irreconcilable differences between the party and Mr Idoko among others.
She listed some of his sins to include anti-party activities, contravention of the party’s constitution, chronic absenteeism, and failure to meet financial obligations.
According to the Chairman, the decision to expel Hon. Chika Idoko is in compliance with Articles 10, 7, and 15 of the ADC Constitution, underscoring the party’s unwavering commitment to upholding its core values and principles.
The State Chairman also cautioned the general public not to do anything with Idoko on behalf of the Party.
