ANAMBRA: Soludo Performs Foundation Stone Laying For 132KV Power Station In Aguleri

As part of Anambra State government’s plans to provide steady power supply to the people of the state, Governor Charles Soludo, yesterday, performed the foundation stone laying for the construction of 132KV power station at Umuekete Igboezunu Aguleri, Anambra East LGA.

Laying the foundation stone, the governor who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, said that the solution government, is working towards providing steady power supply to the people as contained in his manifesto.

The governor who appealed to the host community to support the state government in ensuring that the project is completed as at when due, reinterated that his government would partner with stakeholders in the energy sector to ensure steady electricity.

In their separate speeches, the traditional ruler of Aguleri community, Igwe Michael Idigo, the president general Enugwu-Otu Aguleri Development Union, Mr. Nnamdi Adimomra and the chairman Umuekete village, Igboezunu Aguleri, Mr. Chinedu Mmadubueze, expressed their gratitude to Governor Soludo for such project in their community and pledged to support the government in seeing that the project is completed.

The project when completed, will supply power to Anambra North and neighbouring communities.
