The seemingly endless crises in the Enugu State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) came to a head yesterday, February 14th, when the National Secretary of the party, Senator John Akpanudoedehe handed over the Certificate of Return to Chief Ugochukwu Agballah.
With this new development, Agballah becomes the authentic State Chairman of the party in Enugu State.
The new Chairman was among the state party chairmen who were to receive the Certificate of Return in Abuja on February 2nd at the party secretariat in Abuja.
However, according to reports, an error in the spelling of his name delayed the handing over of the certificate to him when other Chairmen received theirs.
According to an insider, the correction from Ogochukwu to Ugochukwu has been effected and Agballah properly documented as the substantive Chairman of the party in Enugu State.
