APPEAL COURT AWKA DID NOT DISMISS EDOZIE NJOKU’S CASE

APGA National Chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku

Recall that Edozie Njoku had filed two motions at the Appeal Court Awka; (a) Stay of execution of Justice Okah’s judgement of July 19, 2021 (b) Appeal for the same judgement of Justice C.C Okah declaring Oye, the National Chairman of APGA and Soludo as APGA’s candidate for November 6, 2021 Election.

On August 2, 2021 at the Appeal Court Awka, presided over by Justice C. Nwosu-Iheme, Chike Onyemenam, SAN counsel to Edozie Njoku withdrew the application for Stay of Execution. At the withdrawal of the application, in line with legal proceedings, the presiding Judge, Justice C. Nwosu-Iheme struck out the application.

While the application for Stay of Execution had been struck out, as requested by the learned silk, the hearing for the Appeal against Justice Okah’s judgement was adjourned to September, 2021.

It is important to educate the public on the melodrama being staged by the triumvirate of Obiano, Oye and Umeh. They are on the prowl to OBTAIN CONSEQUENCIAL ORDER, at all cost; then, rush to INEC with it before August 8, 2021 deadline, which is the final round of submission and publication of Candidates and their details. Obviously, the reliance of the triumvirate on Okah’s judgement failed like pack of cards. Hence, their desperation to maximize Appeal Court Awka in their face saving program.

Apparently, Appeal Court Awka seems to be their last respite, because they don’t really have any serious case in the Kano Appeal Court. We are fully aware of these inchoate plots. But, our God neither sleeps nor slumber. In His name we shall prevail.
