EverydayNewsngr.net publisher Prince Petrus Obi has cried out alleging attempt on his life by the Cubana group.
Following a recent attack by some hoodlums which affected the Cubana Club in Enugu among others, the group in a text message(see attachment) threatened to teach the publisher that his group is not a small one.
He also threatened to attack the family of the publisher.
The text reads:
“I give u 24hours to bring down that useless fake post of urs.. u think u are playing wit a small group .. if after 24hrs u will show the court wit evidence ur useless post.. is ur family that will be attacked ..useless jobless man.24hrs and u will know what Cubana group is made of.”
Reacting, Prince Obi said he has decided to alert the police, other security Agencies about the threat to my life.
I also wish to bring the attention of the state government to this imported threat.
The language of the text message is very clear and shows the kind of people we are dealing with. What stops a man who is sure of himself from approaching the courts rather than seek self help.
“The person called threatening fire and brimstone. Next he decided to send the message. Let’s see whether he will kill the entire journalists in Nigeria. I will always stand by the truth. No threat will change the truth.”
