The Labour Party State House of Assembly Candidate for Onuimo LGA in Imo state, Hon. Christopher Eleghu, was shot and killed yesterday by unknown gunmen.
Hon. Eleghu aka WASCO was assassinated in his home late Thursday night.
His assailants also burnt down his house and cars. This sad development is coming amidst a recent resurgence of attacks by criminals suspected to be factional members of the Eastern Security Network(ESN) and IPOB.
