BREAKING NEWS: 6 out of 9 PDP NWC members vote for Uche Secondus’ resignation

… Matter to be tabled before Governors Forum, BOT, National Assembly caucus today

Six of the 9 members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has voted for the resignation of Prince Uche Secondus, the party’s National Chairman. Three members declined from voting.

According to a Press Release exclusively obtained by Jungle Journalist Media Limited, the NWC members met on Sunday 8th August to ‘further deliberate on the matter bedeviling the party’ , as was agreed at the 3rd of August meeting held by the members at Legacy House, Abuja.

Although the nine members agreed that Secondus ‘grossly mismanaged the party, highly incompetent, factionalised the party and has lost the confidence of members of the party’ six out of the nine voted.

The meeting therefore decided to forward its decisions to the Governors Forum, the Board of Trustees BOT, and the National Assembly Caucus of both Houses of Representatives and the Senate.

They also called on all members of the party to remain calm as the party leadership is working tirelessly to resolve the leadership crisis.

(7). Chief Dr. Ali Odefa National Vice Chairman (SE)

(8). Chief Dan Osi Orbih –National vice Chairman (SS)

(9). Chief Theophilus Dakas National Vice Chairman (NC)

Those who voted in favour that Prince Uche Secondus should resign were:
