Chidi Lloyd weeps publicly for Gov Wike—See what made him cry like a baby

The chairman of Emohua LGA and former APC chieftain Dr. Chidi Lloyd was all tears as at the Commisioning of the Akpabu/Itu/Imudioga Road in Emohua LGA as he regrets every action he took to stop Wike from becoming Governor of Rivers State.

The former leader of Rivers state house of assembly said despite all he did against the governor in the past he (Wike) still found it worthwhile to call him back, make him a LGA chairman, and build roads for his people especially Akpabu people where he came from.

“Your excellency I do not deserve all you are doing for my people. I went from court to court to stop your swearing in and fought your government yet you found it worthy to do roads in my community, normally the way politics is played, I’m not supposed to enjoy anything from your government and my people are not supposed to get anything too from your government because of me but you overlooked all that and worked to develop my place, for this I’m grateful to you and to God who made you governor despite all efforts to stop it. You did this road for my people. I spent 12 years in the House of Assembly, yet I could not do this road. But you did it for us”, he wept.

In response, the governor said the cry was not necessary as power comes from God and the power is supposed to be used to work for the people of the state.
