Chief Edozie Njoku breaks silence since emergence as APGA National Chairman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Edozie Njoku has called on all party faithful to put heads and hands together to ensure that the party moved forward.

Njoku, who emerged Chairman following a landmark victory in an Awka Federal High Court judgement on July 1, revealed that he has been engaged in countless meetings and working round the clock to ensure that the party wins the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State.

He described the party as being on the path of ‘ultimate redemption’, a journey that has lasted for nearly three years.

He further stated “For whatever it is worth, therefore, however, our determination, resolve and commitment to ensuring that APGA retains its original progressive ideals do not flounder remains irrevocable. APGA politics must be purged of private intentions masked in dubious public conduct for narrow private advantage.

“It was in the wise that on Thursday July 1, 2021, we received the Federal High Court, Awka ruling by Justice H. A. Nganjiwa, with great sense of relief. The court graciously granted favourable orders in favour of APGA under the leadership of Chief Edozie Njoku.

The orders are as follows:

“An order for INEC to accept the nomination of any candidate that emerged from the Anambra Governorship Primary conducted on June 29, 2021 by the leadership of Chief Edozie Njoku.

“An order mandating INEC to recognize Chief Edozie Njoku as the authentic National Chairman of APGA.

“As you can see, the ruling has dire implications on the leadership of our party, most importantly on the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship Election.

“This shower of blessing comes with a burden, and that is that all members of this great party, APGA should rise to the occasion by deploying all forms of statesmanship and patriotism required to get us to the Promised Land.

“As the National Chairman of this great party, I , Chief Edozie Njoku, am more than ever before convinced that APGA is marching steadily and in great stability to victory in the November 6 governorship poll in Anambra State, as well as subsequent elections.

“I am emboldened by the undying show of solidarity and outpouring of goodwill from you all, particularly members of the NEC and NWC of our great party to me in this great adventure of taking APGA to that incomparable height envisaged by our founding fathers.

“Gentlemen of the Press, a copy of the Court Ruling is handy for your perusal.
It would not be out of place for me to pause at this juncture and wholeheartedly appreciate President Muhammad Buhari for his foresight in empowering the Judiciary with the needed confidence and institutional support to ensure that justice is served to all Nigerians, irrespective of creed, party affiliation or tribal origin.

Signed,

Chief Edozie Njoku
