Gunmen enforcing sit at home order on Friday set a driver and his bus on fire at Obama Nguru in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Another truck was set ablaze at Ahiara junction in the Ahiazu Mbaise LGA.
It was on its way to Umuahia, Abia State when the hoodlums struck.
The attackers torched the vehicles at different locations in the early hours of the day.
An eye witness told our correspondent that the gunmen allowed the passengers of the bus to come outside but trapped the driver of the bus in the vehicle, and set him ablaze in it.
The other vehicle was torched after driver fled from it.
Efforts made for the police to speak on the incident proved abortive.
