#ENDSARS Report: Activist Patrick Eholor calls on Nigerians to sign petition calling for sack of Lai Mohammed

A leading human rights group has instituted an online petition, calling for the sack of Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

The group, One Love Foundation is headed by Patriot Patrick Eholor, also known as Ultimate Equals.

The activist whose group started the petition days ago, argues that Mohammed has played very controversial roles in the Endsars matter, including distorting information, withholding truth, and outrightly lying about the deaths of youths who were allegedly killed at the protests last year.

He therefore called on Nigerians to go online and sign the petition which wants the Minister to be sacked from office.

It is titled ‘Endsars Update:Ultimate Equals Insist-SACK ALHAJI LAI MOHAMMED NOW!!!’.

The petition is to be viewed on the website, ‘change.org‘, and as the last count, 547 persons have signed for the sack of the Minister. According to the website, once the signatures get to 500, it is very likely to be featured in their recommendations.

Speaking to our reporter, Eholor who phoned all the way from Spain, argued that in other countries, a man like Alhaji Lai Mohammed is too dangerous to represent the information ministry of a country. He warned that the sooner Mohammed is sacked from being an executive member of the Federal Government, the better for Nigerians.

He accused the minister of being so insensitive as to describe the Lagos report on Endsars as a tissue of lies.
