Enugu APC youth wing agog as top activist Odogwu Na Nkanu joins with thousands of youths 

 

The ruling All Progressive Congress APC Enugu chapter recorded substantial boom over the weekend as Enugu based human right and pro-Biafran activist, David C. Ani joined the party. 

 

Ani who is populary known as Odogwu Na Nkanu is a well known pro-Biafran activist and a politician who has run for the office of House of Assembly, was the State Publicity Secretary of African Democratic Congress ADC and an aid to the former governor of the state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi

In his speech, Ani said that APC has been where he belonged politically and will join in work to make sure that the party takes over power in Enugu state. He noted that he has been a member of the ruling party since 2014 before he left to run for an office in ADC

 

He also urged president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for the sake of peace and stability in the South East, adding that agitation for self determination is political which required political solution instead of force.

The state chairman of the Ruling APC Barr. Ugochukwu Agballa and other members of the state executive council of the party welcomed and thanked him for rejoining the party, whike the State Youth leader, Comrade Peter Chime described his return as a great plus to the youth wing of the party in the state and promised to work with him for it’s betterment.

 

Meanwhile, Ani joined with thousands of his followers including the PDP former house of representatives aspirant in the last election and former National Vice President, Nkanu Youth Assembly Princess Nneka, Labour Party and ADC ward chairmen and many others.
