NBA Conference: Enugu Government Suspends Road Transport Enforcement

Enugu — The Enugu State Government has suspended all transport enforcement activities ahead of the 2025 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference, scheduled to hold in Enugu from August 25 to 29.

The directive was contained in a statement signed on Thursday by the Commissioner for Transport, Obi Ozor.


Transport Enforcement Suspended Until September 1

Mr. Ozor announced:

“With immediate effect, all transport-related enforcement activities are suspended in Enugu until Monday, September 1.

This moratorium is to ensure seamless mobility and zero friction during the ongoing NBA Annual General Conference movements. This also applies to all Ministry of Transport enforcement contract operations.”

He explained that the focus during this period should be on traffic management.
