ESHDC Orders Property Owners to Revalidate Title Documents or Lose Recognition

The Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) has sounded a clear warning: property owners and allottees across its estates must revalidate their title documents and update property records—or risk having them declared invalid.

The General Manager of ESHDC, Dr. Gerald Asogwa, who made the announcement, said the move follows strict directives from the Enugu State Government. He stressed that the exercise is designed to sanitize records, improve service delivery, and bring property documentation in Enugu up to international standards.

According to information available to Jungle-Journalist.Com, the revalidation exercise will run from Monday, September 15, 2025, to Wednesday, December 31, 2025. After that deadline, only revalidated title documents will be recognized by the Corporation.
