FG must investigate, tell Nigerians who is behind bombing of Atiku’s residence — Chief Emeka Kalu

President of Atikulated Agenda 2019, and Coordinator of
Global Initiatives For Good Governance, Chief Emeka Kalu has condemned the bombing of the home of Nigeria’s former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by terrorists.

Kalu in a statement frowned at he development, stating that it is obvious that some people are scared of the eventual outcome of the presidential election tribunal.

He therefore called on the Federal government as a matter of urgency, investigate the attack and arrest those who carried out the act.

He said “I am calling on the international community and all who wish Nigeria well to take note of this ugly incident that happened against the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Boko Haram went to his house and detonated bombs, so if he was at home, he would have been killed.

This is happening a few days after INEC had declared that he won 21 States. What are they not telling us, what are they not telling us? Nigerians are asking questions.

Has it come to politics of bitterness? How can Boko Haram go and bomb the home of the former vice president? Who are they working for? This is not good.

Somebody has to be held responsible, should anything happen to the former vice president. Politics should not be a dead end, where people go and want to kill one another. Power is transient, and life shokld not be exchanged for power. We won’t accept it and we are asking the international community to step into this, to weigh into this. It is wrong in the presence of God and man.

We won’t accept this. The Federal government must swing into action immediately and investigate and tell Nigerians what happened. Because right now, we won’t sit back and watch. This has to be investigated ans we need to know who and who are involved in the menace.

We want to know this involved in the evil plot to assassinate the former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. This won’t be business as usual”, he said.
