The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-South chapter is currently meeting in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Themed “Engendering a S’south Agenda for 2023 and Beyond”, the one-day Summit is designed to reengineer the zone in preparation for the 2023 general elections.
It is holding at Ibom Icon Hotels, Uyo, and top PDP governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives of the South south Region are in attendance.
Also in attendance are top party officials, and leaders from all walks of life.
Also present are past governor and past elected officers under the party.
Specifically, Governors Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Senator Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta and Chairman S’south Governors Forum), Senator Douye Diri(Bayelsa), and the host, Governor Emmanuel Udom.
