Few days after the Labour Party Presidential Candidate for the 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi visited flood victims in Benue State, he has arrived Anambra State to sympathize with the victims of the flood disaster.
Among his entourage were the candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District under Labour Party, Dr Tony Nwoye, and a 2021 governorship candidate in Anambra, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo.
Mr. Obi was received by the President General of Umueri, Chief Johnny Metchie.
On his arrival, Mr. Obi joined a canoe to inspect the flood level at Umueze Anam and other impacted communities.
The PG, Umueri Community, Chief Metchie led Peter Obi to various IDP camps in Umueri Community using boats to sail across the Omambala River from Nneyi Umueri to Otuocha Umueri.
