LP’s Omofoma Decries Poor State of Roads in Edo Central

Labour Party (LP) senatorial candidate in Edo Central in the 2023 general elections, Engineer Osereme Christen Omofoma, has decried the poor state of roads across Esan communities, urging relevant authorities to explore all avenues to ensure quick intervention.

 

Omofoma who came second to defeat incumbent senator and PDP candidate in the Edo central senatorial election flayed the federal and state governments on what he termed the under-represention approach towards boosting the standard of living people of Esan people.

 

Addressing newsmen in Irrua, the administrative headquarters of Esan Central Local Government Area, Omofoma said those who in the last election supported the present government were disappointed with the current state of the country and its infrastructural decay.

 

He expressed optimism that his political party, the LP, under the leadership of His Excellency Peter Obi, would form government of inclusiveness and be acceptable to the people.

 

According to him, he said most Nigerians are fed up with the ruling APC and PDP, and are yearning for LP to be in power. He added that the people need a government that will be just and provide infrastructure for the Esan people.

 

The engineer also urged the people to join the LP to vote out a government that had failed them and support Labour Party that would restructure the country and improve standard of living.
