Mary Ikoku mourns Prof Uche Ikonne

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Communications/Public Relations Expert, Chief (Mrs) Mary Ikoku has condoled with the family of Professor Uche Ikonne over his demise.

Ikoku in a Press Statement, described Ikonne as an accomplished gentleman at the peak of his career, who has left his footprints on the sands of time.

The statement read “I am deeply saddened by the death of Prof. Uche Ikonne. His death came to me as a rude shock but it also reminds me of the temporarity of life.

Ikonne was a highly accomplished man, he got to the peak of his career, made a lot of impact and left his footprints in the sands of time. Abia has lost a scholar, technocrat and one of it’s finest in Prof. Ikonne.

My deepest condolences to the Ikonne family. May God comfort and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Ozoemena!

My condolences also goes to the Governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the PDP family, his community and Abia State. Praying that God grants his soul eternal repose in heaven.”

Hon. Mary Ikoku
