MASSOB Blasts BRAC States For Praising Gowon, Describes Organization As Non-Existent

The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has blasted the union of South South states – Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River, describing it as non-existing, for praising General Yakubu Gowon.

MASSOB in a statement, said the group statement is a Fulani caliphate sponsored one, to defend and praise of General Yakubu Gowon, a former Nigeria military president.

It said Gowon is the greatest enemies of the South South people.

Signed by MASSOB leader Uchenna Madu, the release said “General Yakubu Gowon murdered thousands of their fathers and mothers when he waged a genocidal war against the people of Biafra.

“When Gowon abolished the four Regions Nigeria had after independence and created states, BRAC thought it was for their benefit but they are yet to understand that it was for the benefit of Gowon and his fellow Northern cohorts.

“The self acclaimed BRAC people never bothered to read the military Decrees Gowon used in creating states. They should realise that Gowon not only gave the Fulani caliphate half of the states he created and also abolished resource control and placed all resources in the hands of the Fulani controlled Federal Government of Nigeria

“Ignorance is a terrible disease for the claimed BRAC people.

“The General Yakubu Gowon sponsored BRAC wants to protect and praise is no longer comfortable and romancing with Hausa and Fulani that used him to betray his Middle Belt brothers during his genocidal war against the people of Biafra.

“MASSOB described this confused BRAC as the most modern saboteurs of Biafra actualization who sold their conscience to the fulanis without considering the future of their children.

“Are the so-called supposed BRAC people better and comfortable more than the people Anambra, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states in today’s Nigeria?”, it ended.
