MBAKA: The Saint Encourages Us To Go To Adoration

By Chidipeters Okorie

The closure of Catholic Adoration Ministry Enugu by the Catholic Bishop, His Lordship Callistus Onaga, arose a stark contrast as it calls into question the Bishop’s prioritization of promoting unity and the reforms of Vatican II.

Pope John Paul II called the worship of the Holy Eucharist outside Mass “an important practice that becomes an inexhaustible source of holiness” and a practice “of inestimable value to the life of the Church.”

By not only celebrating the Eucharist (at Mass), but also in praying before it outside of Mass, we are able to connect on a deeply personal level with the wellspring of all grace and holiness.

When Catholics say they are “going to Adoration,” they are typically referring to Eucharistic Adoration, which is the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass. Catholic Adoration Ministry Enugu is the prayer event that begins with Holy Rosary, Mass, Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration. Eucharistic Host is displayed in a monstrance on the altar so that all can see and pray in the presence of Christ.

Millions of practicing Catholics who sort God’s intervention through the Catholic Adoration Ministry Enugu are now constantly losing faith, and already, many instantly lost all taste for life and shut themselves up, gradually losing all contracts with the Diocese, including with their faiths.

With the closure, the certainty they had that putting all their trust in God would spare them great misfortunes of life have vanished. They are gradually turning away from any religious practice of the Church.

It explains why Catholic Adoration Ministry Enugu has been the highest Adoration ground for millions of laity, as it keeps their day centered on God and helps them grow their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Indeed, who can understand what Mbaka is going through?

There are some trials so unspeakably painful that they can shake the most vibrant and profound faith. Mbaka, definitely is undergoing such trials. But let him take solace that heroes rise to the occasion under many circumstances, but priesthood itself is a call to heroism.

Though it is unfortunate we have so much mud and soot in the Church in those who are supposed to be the body of Christ.

The Catholic and non-Catholic faithful flummoxed by closure of the Catholic Adoration Ministry Enugu is an indication there are cogent grounds for the decision to be reviewed and reserved within the shortest possible time.

Bishop Onaga is an admirable shepherd, one of the best we have; he is clearly a top-notch Bishop and a Prince of the Church, and we appeal to him to respond to the demand of millions of the laity.

Very Fr. Ejike Mbaka has pleaded mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. He has gone into self penance and retreat. Therefore, my Lord Bishop, do not hold this sin against him and your flocks.
