Non indigenes living in Enugu direct members to vote Mbah, laud his capacity, competence and character

The non-indigenes in Enugu State have called on their people to vote for Dr. Peter Mbah, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stressing that the candidate has the leadership qualities needed to govern the state and steer it out of economic and security challenges.

The directive came on Tuesday in Enugu when the leaders of different ethnic groups came together under the aegis of Imo, Delta, Ebonyi, Anambra, Abia Indigenes (IDEAA) including Hausa and Yoruba communities living in the state and endorsed the business mogul, saying they could only feel secure and safe in the state if someone like him is elected.

Citing Mbah’s multicultural background as a widely travelled and adventurous citizen who has been carrying on business in almost all the parts of the country and beyond, the inter-ethnic community group said the governorship candidate had proven to be friendly, flexible and liberal in his approach to people from different backgrounds.

They also noted that they had met with other candidates and evaluated what they said they would offer the state and found out that Mbah’s background, capacity, competence, character and excellent programmes were better by far.

According to the various speakers who spoke on behalf of their people, Mbah would guarantee their safety and support a thriving business environment for everyone to operate.

They promised to mobilize their people to come out on March 11, and vote for the PDP, adding that Mbah had presented a rare opportunity for the people to transform and be proud of the Enugu State of their dream.

Responding to the IDEAA and other ethnic communities, the oil and gas magnate said he was impressed with the decision taken by the people, saying that the evidence that he was the most competent and visionary candidate was glaring and urged the people to remain steadfast in the journey to birth a new Enugu State.

While outlining his programmes, the PDP gubernatorial flagbearer assured the people to take social services and basic amenities for granted as he would be providing them with tap water in about 180 days to his administration.

He informed them that he was already discussing with the operators in the power sector on how to harness the local resources in the state to generate more power which will ensure that industries could be attracted and functioned optimally.

According to him, the first priority of his administration would be the youths, and how to create jobs for them by productively engaging and transforming them into wealth creators.

He urged the electorate to come out in large numbers on the day of elections and for for him based on competence, capacity, character, and outstanding records of excellent performance.
