The traditional ruler of Okeanyi/Aniyi, Amagunze community of Nkanu-East, Igwe Emmanuel Nnamchi, has given his fatherly blessings to the APAGA Governorship Candidate, Frank Nweke Jr.
Welcoming him at his palace, Eze Udo 1 prayed for God blessings, protection and fulfilment as he pursues his political ambition.
In his remark, the Governorship Candidate said the visit was to pay homage to the royal Father and inform him of his activities in the community as the All Progressives Grand Alliance resumed ward tours across the State.
He restated is administration’s readiness to ensure the welfare of the people of Enugu state.
The visit was one of the activities in continuation of the party’s grassroot campaign.
Also on the visit were the APGA Deputy Governor Candidate, Dr Edith Ugwuanyi, the House of Representative Candidate for Nkanu East, Dickson Orji, the House of Representative Candidate for Enugu North and South, Nonso Nnamani, the House of Assembly Candidate for Nkanu East Constituency, Hon. Samson Okereke, the APGA State Woman Leader, Hon. Ngozi Ugwu, amongst others.
The Okeifufe Campaign Organization had earlier announced the suspension of its ward tour for a week due to recent rise of insecurity in the state and the attacks on communities in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area.
