A building undergoing construction in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State, has collapsed, killing one person and leaving two others with varying degrees of injury.
A source who spoke to News Express said that the building under construction at the Upper Iweka area collapsed around 6pm yesterday, Monday, February 26, 2024, while some workers were on top of the roof.
It was gathered that the building was meant to serve as a market on completion.
