A frontline human rights non-governmental organization, One Love Foundation, through it’s President, Chief Patrick Eholor said it has started rolling out it’s 2022 programme. To this end, the organization announced that it is about to launch it’s Second Chance Inmates Rehabilitation Programme, aimed at providing training and skills acquisition, and educational opportunities for prisoners who are ready to change for the better.
In a letter to the The Comptroller,

Akure (covering Ondo, Ogun (South-West), Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Cross River states (South-South Nigeria), it enumerated areas where it’s going to assist prisoners in the zone, in it’s first quarter activities.

Sir, as part of our social work schedule for the year 2022, we have drawn a curriculum of prison visitation by experts, Pastors and Imams who are humanitarian partners with our foundation for preaching, moral instructions, rehabilitation and post-prison skills acquisition training for correctional centre inmates. Our first quarter curriculum covers Ondo, Ogun (South-west), Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Cross River states (South-south Nigeria), to which your correctional centre belongs.
The objective of this programme is to give hope, a new life of purpose, deep integral reform, rehabilitation and a second chance of love-empowered life to hitherto depressed, image disadvantaged and despondent convicts and future ex-convicts across Nigeria.
By this communication, we hereby humbly inform and seek your cooperation to facilitate and support our above objective for the benefit of the inmates of your correctional service jurisdiction.
