One Love Foundation and it’s legal representative, who have been consistently piqued for demanding for police reforms, have taken the quest of police reforms to the hierachy of Nigeria Police Force Management Council.
They were present and invited as keynote speakers, through their legal representative, Samuel Ihensekhien Jnr Esq in the Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) on Inauguration of a Civil Society Organisations Observatory on the Implementation of the Police Act 2020 and the Police Trust Fund Act 2019.
The inception meeting and capacity building for member-organisations of the Observatory for the North Central & the FCT took place January 27th, 2022 at Grand Pela Hotel & Suites, Plot No. 649 Cadastral Zone Bo2, Opp. NNPC Filling Station, Near American Int’l School, Durumi, Area 1, Abuja.
The event which had in attendance representative of the Minister of Police Affairs, Civil Society, Four Dig of Nigeria Police Force, board members of Nigeria Police Trust Fund, different commisioners of the Nigeria Police Force, distinguised lawyers, NBA chairmen, and Nigerians from the organised private sector were all present.
