The P-BAT Academics & Professional has announced plans to hold a National Summit on policy making in Nigeria.
A statement by the spokesperson of the group, Mrs Mary Ikoku stated that the summit tagged “Abuja 2024 National Policy Summit” will take on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Shehu Yar Adua Centre, Abuja.
The statement revealed that the summit aims at “Activating the Policies and Promises in the Renewed Hope Agenda” of President President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The statement pointed out that president Tinubu will serve as the keynote speaker and Special guests of honour.
Others speakers expected at the Summit include Prof Isaac Adewole who will handle the topic, ‘Healthcare and Citizen Wellbeing of Nigerians’.
Engr Samuel Babatunde, FNSChE will speak on Oil & Gas, while Prof Amuda-Kannike, SAN FCArb will lecture on Constitutional Reform, while Olufemi Boyede, CITP will talk on Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Others are Prof Babaniyi Babatope, who will speak on Hi-Tech, and Ms NK Fidimaiye, expected to handle a topic on National Orientation.
The rest are Prof Segun Awonusi, expected to speak on Education and Training and Bolade Agbola to lecture on Agriculture/Food Security.
The Summit Chairperson will be Prof. Yemi Oke, PhD, FCTI, FCIArb.
Others Special guests of honour are the Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife and His Eminence Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto,
The rest include His Lordship Chief Justice Ariwoola CJN, His Excellency Senator Akpabio, Senate President, Rt Hon Dr Abass Tajudeen, the Honourable Speaker of House of Rep, Dr Akinwumi Adesina, President, AfDB Group and Senator Ajibola Bashiru, APC National Secretary.
