The streets of the South East region of Nigeria went into total complaimave with the directive of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Jungle Journalist Media Limited learnt that in Owerri, Imo State capital, residents did not come out at all, but have remained indoors.

Also, reports from various towns in the state reveals that all businesses, human and vehicular traffic were absent.

A visit to the streets in Owerri like Wetheral, Egbu, Works, New Owerri, Housing, Douglas and Owerri Onitsha Expressway roads etc showed total compliance.

Roads like Owerri – Port Harcourt, Owerri – Mbaise – Umuahia, Owerri- Enugu and Okigwe- Umuahia roads were also deserted.

Noticeable compliance was also noticed in major towns like Nekede, Okigwe, Orlu, Oguta, Mbano, Obowo, Mbaise, Owerri and environs.
