Prince of Mburubu Fixes Dates For Funeral Of Late Mum, HRM Josephine Nwakaego Ezeh

The royal family of the late HRM Igwe E.M.O Ezeh Ozulumba I of Mburubu Kingdom has officially announced the burial programmes of their beloved Queen Mother, HRM Josephine Nwakaego Ezeh, who died at the age of 79.

Announcing the funeral and memorial plans, yesterday at the Palace, the son, Engr Prince Lawrence Ezeh, FNSE, PhD, (the Prince of Mburubu Kingdom) unveiled the funeral programme as follows:

 

● Thursday, May 2, 2024 — Night of Tributes/ Christian Wake-Keep at Igwe Ozulumba Palace in Mburubu Community (6:00 pm).

 

● Friday, the 3rd of May for funeral service at Mburubu Community Primary School Field, internment at the Igwe Ozurumba 1 Palace.

 

● Saturday May 4, 2024 — Condolences by friends, in-laws and well-wishers will continue.

 

● Sunday, May 5th 2024 – Outing Service at St. Johns Catholic Church Mburubu (8:00 am).

 

 

In his address, Engr Prince Lawrence Ezeh, who also serves as the Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and condolences from near and far. He remarked that while the loss is profoundly felt, the family takes solace in the knowledge that the Queen Mother lived a life of profound impact and virtue, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

 

In addition to the funeral proceedings, condolence books have been opened at both the Ozulumba Palace and the private residences of the Prince, allowing members of the community, friends and well-wishers to pay their respects and offer condolences between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm daily until the day of the funeral.
