Hope was sighted from far away, the hope that many citizens of the state lost owing to years of aimless misrule and untoward wickedness garnished with a touch of absolute negligence.
The happiness and joy of the people of Enugu State, especially, the good and great people of Enugu East Senatorial District knows no bound and has been so since the emergence of the High Princess Ada Ogbu as the candidate physically gunning for support to represent Ndi Enugu East in The Senate.
Smiles and joy have not left the faces of Ndi Enugu East at the slight mention, remembrance, or mere thought of her emergence and consequent victory at the polls come February 2023. She has over the period gone round, even to areas and people regarded not to be politically relevant in the order of things, preaching the hope of a better and even best representation. She has made the list of those “quotable few” in this part of the country owing to her mouth-opening revelations, and possibilities open to Ndi Enugu East, Enugu State as a whole, and Nigeria in general with the election of credible candidates with capacity, a group she occupies and proudly so.
Princess Ada Ogbu presents herself as a credible candidate, one with capacity, the only and better alternative to Dr Nnamani, and has remained undebated for months unend. She is the only one seen and known to be prepared, the only one seen and known by all, even those outside Enugu East, to have presented herself among all other aspirants. She has presented herself to the people as ready to run, ready to serve.
From her long ancestry and heritage of royalty, she has been equipped with the blue blood, and like Esther, taken through the path of a making befitting a compassionate and empathic representative. From childhood, she has exhibited qualities that made many wonder why women are not yet given the chance to ascend thrones in most parts of Africa, and Igbo land precisely.
She like Biblical Esther is known to step in at times when the people, her people are in dire need of redemption. These attributes play out self-triggered whenever she sees the need for it as we have it now, Enugu East needs a savior. We have tried men all the while, let’s give a woman, and indeed women a chance to bring in motherliness into the equation.
Princess Ada Ogbu as we all know has given herself to service at lesser levels of leadership, she has pushed herself to stand in for her people at various times and severally, she is out and ready to do so again, and now as the Senator representing the great people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone.
