Prof Ibe Has Genuine Certificates —Prof Gregory Ibe Campaign Council

While the recent resort to litigation on the alleged case of certificate forgery by Prof Gregory Ibe is a welcome development, it is however the height of futile desperation by Sir Chikwe Udensi, whose culture of unwarranted bitter vituperation is legendary.

Recall that this is the same Sir Udensi that was forced to beat shameful retreat in order to escape prosecution for character defamation when he allegedly accused Gen Ijioma of dismissal from the Nigerian Army.

It is also on record that he recently visited Prof Ibe in Uturu to secretly apologize for wrongfully alleging that he forged his West African Certificate of Education, during a live radio programme. A fact he shamelessly confessed to while featuring on one of his many propaganda laden radio shows.

What however beats the imagination of all discerning observers is why Sir Udensi didn’t opt for the first option of commencing legal proceedings on ‘sniffing’ and ‘scooping out’ the alleged certificate forgery. The clear answer is that he knows that the case won’t stand the rigid scrutiny of the law since Prof Ibe’s academic history is unquestionably consistent and his acquired certificates intact. He then resorted to his popular trademark antic of unbridled media activism, all in an attempt to de-market Prof Ibe through character assassination, mudslinging and falsification.

Now that the case has finally been taken to court by proxies of in house enemies of Prof Ibe, in a manner similar to the biblical case of ‘hand of Esau but voice of Jacob’, the facts will come to light and Prof Ibe will be vindicated finally.

However, to put the record straight, it is pertinent to re-emphasize that Prof Ibe didn’t take the West African School Certificate Examination(WASCE) in 1992, as erroneously alleged by Sir Udensi and his band of terrible losers. The verifiable fact is that he had already obtained same qualification in 1983.

For emphasis, let us affirm that Prof Ibe attended Boys High School Ihube and graduated from the institution after taking the West African Examination Certificate Examination in 1983.

Furthermore, he sat for the General Certificate of Education(GCE) Examination in both Ordinary and Advanced levels before proceeding to higher institutions in Nigeria and USA for professional training. All certificates obtained from the schools he attended are available for verification.

The public is thereby enjoined to ignore the nefarious activities of agents of destabilization, whose objective is to derail the journey to a brand New Abia of limitless possibilities.
