Our attention has been drawn to a photograph sourced online by one of our reporters to publish a news report on January 5, 2023.
The said report, titled ‘Sexual Escapades of Teenagers Uncovered at FG’s Secondary School’ was published with an accompanying photograph, which misrepresented the issues raised in the news story. While the news story was about incidents that allegedly took place at Federal Government College Ijaniki, the photograph used to illustrate the story, was that of the students of Queens College, Lagos.
The management of Jungle Journalist Media Limited hereby tender an unreserved apology to the students, staff, management and Old Girls Association of Queens College, Lagos for the misrepresentation and misinformation arising from this error.
We also thank the school’s Old Girls` Association for drawing our attention to it and pledge to improve in our services to all.
The publication has been pulled down and the staff responsible is being queried and appropriate action taken to ensure that such does not occur again.
