Nigeria youth orientated NGO, Monday Diamond Foundation in partnership with Muslim and Christian Youths Initiative(MCY), Eureka-Gie, Youth Advocacy for Development and Empowerment(YADE)as well as Youths Alliance for Good Governance(YAGG)is set to host the biggest academic event in Nigeria with the title The NATIONAL DEBATE 2022.
Monday Diamond Foundation is a Non- Governmental Organization highly reputable for the promotion of Girl-Child Education, Youth Empowerment, Humanitarian Services and organising Academic Programs to reorientate the youths in the society on moral upbringing, capacity building, intellectual awareness and maintenance of civic responsibility.
The NATIONAL DEBATE 2022 is sequel to The SOUTH EAST DEBATE’21,it will feature Seventy Four (74)Higher Institutions in Nigeria,which at the end,one school,based on their performance will emerge the Champion.
Recall that in 2021 Monday Diamond Foundation organized the biggest Academic Event in South East known as The SOUTH EAST DEBATE’21,a program that featured 35 Higher Institutions in the South East,in which Ebonyi State University emerge the Champion and went home with Trophy, Cash Prize and other gifts,with who is who in the South East in attendance.

The NATIONAL DEBATE 2022 will be the biggest academic event in Nigeria in recent time because of its tripodal segment viz; Debate Competition amongst 74 Higher Institutions in Nigeria on topical issues that affect the Nation.
These topical issues are majorly:
-2023 NORTHERN OR SOUTHERN PRESIDENCY; Panacea to National Peace, Unity and Progress of Nigeria?
-NIGERIAN 62ND INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY: Dissecting the Leadership Performance of Military Rule &PDP, APC Democratic Dispensations…!
One of the cardinal reasons for this Debate is to bring Nigerian youths together in unification of purpose, examine their logical quotent and intellectual prowess through the students community on the issues that bother on National interest.
There shall also be a Panel Session that will involve Eminent Nigerians,top Party Presidential Candidates and Keynote Speeches.
The NATIONAL DEBATE 2022 will be successful and historic because we are in partnership with EUREKA-GIE (an international academic consortium with corporate headquarters in Rome,Italy),Youth Advocacy for Development and Empowerment (YADE), Muslim and Christian Youths Initiative (MCY) and Youth Alliance for Good Governance (YAGG).
The event will have in attendance who is who in Nigeria, including former Presidents,top Traditional Rulers, Diplomats, Clergymen, Academicians, Captains of Industries, Celebrities, Activists,Youth Leaders, different Organizations and Students.
In due time,we will begin to unveil our guests and participants for the program.
The NATIONAL DEBATE 2022 will hold as follows:
PRELIMINARY STAGE: preliminary stage will hold at the National Merit Award House , Abuja.
At this stage,74 Higher Institutions in Nigeria will compete,while only six(6)schools from the six geo political zones of Nigeria will qualify to the Final based on the decision of the impartial panel of judges( Proffesors)who will be drawn from the six geo Political Zones of Nigeria.
