Thousands of non-indigenes drum support for Hon. Mrs. Egbo

Thousands of non-indigine residents in Enugu are wasting no time backing their preferred candidate in the February 25, 2023 House of Representatives election, endorsing the All Progressive Congress candidate, Hon Mrs. Juliet Egbo, who launched her door-to-door campaign.

Hundreds of non-indigines, along with their delegation endorsed Mrs. Egbo on Sunday.

Mrs Egbo has proved to be one of the strongest candidates vying for elective position in 2023 — and that’s why she has received overwhelming endorsement.

“Nasiru Ahmed is a fierce campaigner and one of the top Hausa leaders .”We are 100% supporting her candidacy,” he said.

“I have lived and worked in this area for decades and I personally know the needs and issues of the non-indigine communities” Mrs Egbo said.

“The residents of the Enugu North and South Federal Constituency deserve a responsive, service-oriented representative who will be honest with them and that’s why I’m running for House of Representatives.”

If elected she would be the first woman in the National Assembly from Enugu North and South Federal Constituency Congress,

Some members of other political parties do not openly take sides in forthcoming election. But endorsements of Mrs Egbo by top leaders from other political parties have put her ahead of other candidates who are also in the race.

Mrs Egbo is “a proven leader who will bring her Constituency together to solve problems while championing women’s rights and opportunities for young people.”

Issues she promised to tackle include comprehensive free medical car for old people, reforms to keep children and families from homelessness and to stop cycles of poverty.

Expanding educational opportunities and providing students with empowering experiences to yield tremendous benefits for our economy and our society, are part of her policy plans.

Mrs Egbo has been spent her entire life as a social-justice activist, fighting for the rights of women, children, families, the disabled. She has taken on crucial issues, she’s tough and unafraid to smash barriers, whether it was negotiating strict the people.
