Tinubu Postpones Return to Nigeria, Leaves Paris

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has briefly postponed his return to Nigeria.

 

The President, who was initially scheduled to be back in Abuja today Saturday, June 24, will now proceed to, London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit.

 

 

The President is billed to be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.

 

Tinubu had arrived at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, the venue of New Global Financing Pact summit. The Nigerian Leader arrived at the venue in the company of his Aide-de-Camp, Nurudeen Yusuf. He and his delegation were received by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and Europe, Catherine Colonna.

 

Tinubu, who arrived in Paris on Tuesday held bilateral meetings with various countries including officials of France, US, and Switzerland where they discussed possible ways of attracting foreign direct investments.
