This is Igwe J. O. Ngene (Eze Idodo 1 of Eziama, Amaechi-Idodo, Nkanu-East local government area) who pulled his clothes and shoes and walked through the flood that covered the road at Obom, before the Idodo bridge, together with his Lolo (wife) on 12/08/2021.
This is an eyesore. It tells the world the kind of neglect and suffering Amechi Idodo, I’m Nkanu-East Local Government Area of Enugu State is currently passing through. It shows that Amechi Idodo as a town is totally cut off.
This road leads from a major Enugu-Abakaliki express road to Amagunze, the headquarters of Nkanu East L.G.A. of Enugu State.
According to a member of the community, this road has been untarrws for at least 30 years now.
Indeed, Ndi Amaechi-Idodo are suffering serious neglect from the Enugu State Government.
