A frontline pro-PDP support group, Ebeano Volunteer Movement for Peter Mbah, has reiterated commitment to mobilize and deliver massive votes for the victory of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Peter Mbah, and other candidates of the party in the state.

The group disclosed this, recently in Nsukka during the formal inauguration of the Ward Executive members across the six local government areas in the Enugu North Senatorial Zone, otherwise known as the Nsukka Zone, stressing that they would capture Nsukka votes with ease because of their engagement and interface with the people at the grassroots.

While addressing the mammoth crowd at the university town, the Chairman of the popular support group, Hon. Chidera Nwodo charged the people to penetrate all the polling units in the zone and galvanize their support through the massive infrastructure and human capital development the PDP governments in the past years had attracted across the zone.

Hon. Nwodo who explained that the presence of the large numbers of people at the event was a testimony that PDP is still in charge, further described Barr. Mbah as a man who will drive industrial revolution through integrated sectors development when elected.

The chairman of the group extolled Barr. Mbah’s manifesto as excellent, exceptional, outstanding and would transform the zone into a large market and industrial hub for investments, tourism, and empowerment.

Underscoring that the group would stop at nothing until the zone is delivered with landslide votes for Barr. Mbah and other PDP candidates, Hon. Nwodo appealed to eligible voters to collect their permanent voter’s cards from the INEC before the deadline given by the electoral umpire.

“Your PVC is your power. You’ve to show that you love our incoming governor, Barr. Peter Mbah and that you truly want him to win with large numbers by collecting your voter’s card.

“The answer to the solution in the state is Barr. Peter Mbah. He will further bring development to our people in Nsukka zone. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has done well. He constructed a good number of roads. He brought massive infrastructures, schools and institutions to our people of Nsukka zone, including the Enugu State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, polytechnics at Ohodo, new stadium, state secretariat, and opens new roads even where our people didn’t expect.

“In the past seven years, he constructed Type-3 hospitals across the 17 local government areas in the state, rehabilitated existing general hospitals in Enugu Ezike, Nsukka, and other places. Primary healthcare facilities are wearing a new look under Governor Ugwuanyi, and when you visit Orba and other parts of our zone, you’ll see new isolation centres he built during the COVID-19 pandemic era.

“The governor has also created and offered a lot of jobs to our people and engaged the youths in different ventures where they’re now creating wealth for themselves. Barrister Peter Mbah is coming to do better. We have to queue behind him to enjoy the dividends of democracy in his manifesto.

“Our people should look at the massive developments in the Nsukka zone, and all these were made possible because of PDP. When we vote for Barr. Mbah, we are voting for the future of our children. We are voting for a safe and secure Enugu State. We are voting for security, peace and prosperity,” Hon. Nwodo added.
