The Coalition of Pro-Biafra’ groups (COPROBIG), has raided the alarm that the planned nation wide protests is a plot to kill Igbo people.

COPROBIG, according to it’s Press Release is a non violent body that unites various positive Biafra agitators, activists and groups seeking to actualize and restore the right to self determination for the indigenous Biafra people through the mechanism of legal, political and diplomatic methodology.

The statement, signed by its leaders and made available to Jungle-Journalist.Com, stated in part “We are law abiding citizens of Nigeria by birth and Biafrans by indigenous identity.

The Coalition body which comprises of many pro Biafra groups which includes Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Eastern Peoples Congress (EPC), Billie Human Rights Initiative (BHRI), Biafra Liberation Council (BLC), Biafra Revolutionary Force (BRF), Biafra Revolutionary Organization (BRO), Biafra Reconciliation (BR) and Union of Biafra Scientists and Engineers (UBSE).

We have condemned the the atrocious outburst by federal government sponsored Bayo Onanuga on the person of Mr Peter Obi.

Bayo 0nanuga should shift his searchlight and advice his master’s led federal government of Nigeria to fix her economy that is seriously nosediving into undesirable state of decay than laying blames at Peter Obi who with other well meaning Nigerian citizens, have the right to criticize the economic situation of the Nigerian nation.

The protest is born out of economic frustrations and hunger meted on the citizens of Nigeria as a result of clueless, impunity and high corruption of Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inflicted much hunger and suffering on the citizens of Nigeria. The citizens are protesting, why blame and accuse Mr Peter Obi and Ndigbo?

Onanuga and his allies should know that an attempt to dent Peter Obi’s image is a serious provocation of spirits of our ancestors and all the progressives that occupy the surface earth.

Onanuga should be reminded of the Igbo adage that says “ONYE APKALA NWA AGU AKA N’ODU, MA ODI NDU MA ONWURU- ANWU, when translated to English, means ” no one should touch the leopard’s tail, whether dead or alive”.

Onanuga should not add more salt to the Nation’s injuries by reminding Nigerians what they lost in Peter Obi as an American adage says ” you don’t know the value of what you have until you lose it”.

We are aware of the damaging tendencies orchestrated by Onanuga and his allies on Peter Obi and hereby, state as follows.

That to avoid the genocidal plot of federal government that will result in massive killings of Biafrans involving in the coming nationwide protest, COPROBIG declare that there will be no sit at home in Biafra land during the week-long national protest.

That the cancellation of any public pro Biafra activities will not give Nigeria security agencies the opportunity to kill the people of Biafra.

That the planned weeklong national protest is a subtle plot to lure the youths of Ndigbo to their early graves.

That the people of Biafra should go about their normal businesses of the day, and avoid the protests.

Signed,
Comrade Uchenna Madu for MASSOB.

Mazi Okechukwu Orji for EPC.

Engr Innocent Amadi for BHRI.

Comrade Festus Obiorah. for BLC.

Comrade Bidwell Ogbonna for BRF.

Rev S. Chioma Ajah for BRO.

Elder Anya Kalu for BR.

Engr Okasi for UBSE.
