Frontline human rights defender and political activist, Madam Eberechukwu Anigbogu has expressed profound thanks to the executive governor of Enugu State for the emergence of Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as the PDP flagbearer in the coming 2024 local government elections.
Anigbogu, who is better known as Ada Biafra made her position known while speaking to journalists in Enugu, the state capital.
She equally congratulated Ezugwu, who is popularly known as CJ, affirming that his emergence spells of great things that are coming to Uzo Uwani local council.
Ada Biafra said “My joy knows no bounds over the emergence of our own Barrister Ezugwu. His track records are bare, and speak volumes of what he is capable of doing in the lives of our people.
Indeed, Governor Peter Mbah truly loves our people, and he has demonstrated it by giving us someone who will transform our local government the way Dubai and UAE got their transformation. What more do we want? Thank you, Mr Governor!
Also addressing the candidate, she said “My dear brother, your emergence is a new dawn for our people, as we are soon going to witness something liberational for our people.
“We are strongly hoping that the ‘Tomorrow is Here’ project of His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah shall be made abundantly manifest with your presence in our local government. We will give you all the support you need to ensure that your success is overwhelming. Congratulations!”
Ezugwu is a one time youth leader of the PDP in Uzo Uwani local government area. He is also a one time councillor, representing Nkpologu Ward in Uzo Uwani legislative council.
He is also the immediate past Chief Security Officer of the same local government.
With his track record, and now the flag bearer PDP in the forthcoming election, it is expected that he will transform the local government for good.
