Dear Senator Mbata,
I extend my warmest congratulations to you on your historic emergence as the 13th President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, made even more remarkable by the voice voting exercise that confirmed your leadership. Your vast experience in politics, policy, and diplomacy as a former senator will undoubtedly serve the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization well.
As the first President General from Ikwerre in Rivers State, a lot is expected from your leadership. I assure you of my partnership and support in driving the common goals and objectives of our people.
I therefore urge the entire Igbo nation to rally behind you, ensuring unity of purpose and collective achievement of our communally set targets.
Your leadership is crucial at this critical juncture in our history when we are seeking to build an all inclusive nation, free of discrimination, segregation and marginalization.
