A member of the BOT of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has commended Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for the giant strides so far recorded in the recent war started against kidnappers, organ harvesters and voodoo doctors and ezenwanyis promoting get-rich-quick schemes like Okeite and Yahoo-Plus.
Ezeonwuka, in his recommendations message, made available to Jungle-Journalist.Com, said it is high time that the Governor rise to use one stone to kill all the evil birds in the bush.
His words, “When I say evil birds, I mean, what the Igbo man is trying to do with dead bodies is forbidden; it is madness. All that Igbos are doing today – Okeite, ego mbute, money rituals – must be forbidden. All these ideas of miracles here and there must be forbidden. Youth idleness, the idea of getting rich without any identifiable source of income among young people must be forbidden. Therefore, Agunechemba has to go the extra mile to eradicate corpses in the mortuary and deal with morticians who are using corpses and their parts to make money by selling them to those into Okeite, ibubo, aro – agba – aka and other strange ways of making charmed wealth.
All these Okeite voodoo doctors and all these miracle pastors, and all these mortuary morticians are the causes of the evil we have today in Igboland. They are encouraging the evil spirits to thrive by invocation.
How can you go to the market and introduce market prayer, when you have churches and morning mass? You still go to the markets and introduce market prayers. That is evil.
Our people now specialize in selling fake products. Fake products here and there, everywhere fake products. Do you know the health implications of selling fake drugs and fake drinks to unsuspecting members of the public to consume? You are evil.
It has become a tradition for every little boy without any impact on humanity or the society to pay bribe to one traditional ruler to give him chieftaincy title. Chieftaincy titles are now issued to everybody for afu afu and kobo kobo.
All traditional rulers should be forbidden from giving chieftaincy titles to any Dick and Harry.
For anybody to be given chieftaincy, he must showcase to the town or community to warrant the title.
The, on the issue of unburied corpses that litter the human world, the government should know how many corpses are in the mortuaries, ndi Anambra should know. Tell us, how many of our brothers and sisters that are not buried are in the mortuary? Let us know. Soludo should summon mortuary attendants and morticians to bring to the public how many corpses are in the mortuary. What is their date of being deposited in the mortuary? Have they overstayed two months, which is what the Law in Anambra State allows the corpses to be kept? The Law of burial is that no corpse should stay more than two months. How many thousands are more than two months? It’s the principal seed of the troubles we have today.
What Ndi Igbo are doing today with dead bodies is great abomination. Every demised soul need immediate rest. The miracle the living can do for their loved ones is immediate burial without mortuary deposition and no delay from committal to earth.
It is one of the reasons we now hold lavish, elaborate and senseless burial ceremonies where people throw the dead body around as if it’s a play thing. What we call befitting burial is evil. Dancing with the corpse is evil. Celebrating the corpse is evil. These things have to stop, and a prudent Governor like Prof Charles Soludo has risen up to the occasion. Pls Mr Governor, finish the cleansing, so tjay our land may be both physically and spiritually clean”, he stated.
Recall that Chief Ezeonwuka had previously told Ndi Anambra that for Soludo’s administration as governor, it is simply a case of ‘Agbachaa oso aguo miles’. He said this when citizens began to compare Prof Soludo with Abia State Government, Dr Alex Otti.
“I said that after the run, we will count the mileage, that at the end of the day, we shall know whether Soludo is actually working or not. That’s why I insisted back then, and I still insist today that Soludo is doing wonders that as APGA BOT member, I boldly say that there is no vacancy in Agu Awka”.
“With the movement of Anambra Government House from Amawbia to New Government Village in Awka, further Ogilisi-Igbo prophesy shall be fulfilled; that is moving out from coven witchcraft enveloped environment to Angelic – protected environment. Things of goodness shall keep happening in Anambra”, he concluded.
