Controversial Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again stirred public reaction with a deeply emotional outpouring following the passing of her father, former Oyo State Governor Victor Omololu Olunloyo.

Kemi shared harrowing allegations about the late politician, whom she accused of severely traumatizing her and her siblings.

The journalist, known for her bold and often polarizing statements, denounced herself as a member of the Olunloyo family and questioned the praises being showered on her late father in the media.

Kemi alleged that her father inflicted physical and emotional abuse on his children, recounting a disturbing incident involving her younger brother, Gbenga.

“A teacher once reported my 12-year-old brother to Daddy for stealing in school. Dad hung him on the ceiling fan, beat him heavily and switched the fan on,” she claimed.

In another incident, she said their father burned Gbenga’s back with a hot iron over a minor accusation. “The scars are still there till today. He will tell that story to his children,” she added.

She further accused the late governor of taking two of her brothers to a ritualist where they allegedly drank human blood as a form of spiritual fortification.

“When Oyeleke got back to the UK six weeks later, a car hit him and he died. Mummy shouted that Daddy sacrificed him,” Kemi stated. According to her, the other sibling contracted HIV from the alleged ritual experience.

In perhaps the most personal of her revelations, Kemi claimed that her first son, whom she sent to Nigeria for a holiday while she lived in the United States, returned mute and was later diagnosed with autism. She accused her father and his wife, Ronke, of using juju on the boy.

“Daddy was helping other people’s children to get jobs but never did anything for us,” she said, expressing years of pent-up frustration and pain.

The shocking revelations have sparked mixed reactions online, with many sympathizing with Kemi’s pain.
