Nigerian actor and content creator, Odira Nwobu, has been reportedly confirmed dead, sparking widespread shock across the entertainment community. The news of his alleged passing broke on Monday after fellow content creator Awuzie Frankline shared a disturbing video on Facebook showing Nwobu lying motionless.

In an emotional message, Frankline lamented:

“You were full of life just some hours ago in South Africa. You even had your thanksgiving service a few months back and many people came to celebrate with you. How can you return from South Africa lifeless? I am drowning in tears. Death is rude. I am heartbroken.”
Comedian Evan Okoro also reacted with disbelief, posting Nwobu’s photo with the caption:
“No, no… I can’t believe this. Nooooo!”

Unconfirmed reports circulating among colleagues suggest that the actor may have been battling high blood pressure, which could have been aggravated by alcohol consumption during the night out. These speculations, however, remain unverified.
Another actor, Jpac, urged that an autopsy be conducted to determine the actual cause of death, given the unclear circumstances surrounding his final hours. His Facebook post hinted at concerns about the suddenness of the actor’s demise:
