Foremost sociocultural Igbo youth group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths have presented to Princes Ada Ogbu the ‘Outstanding Female Politician of the Year Award’.
The award was formally presented to her at the weekend by the Nkanu East chapter of the organisation, which gave her the award.
Receiving the prestigious award, Ada Ogbu, who is gunning for the Enugu East Senate seat under the All Progressives Congress commended the organizers for providing such a platform, and urged them to look inwardly while electing their leaders.
According to the amazon, “days are gone when they come to deceive you with partisan politics, it is no longer business as usual. Accept nothing less than competence and say no to mediocres who have nothing to offer”, she insisted.
She also maintained that she is in the race to offer quality representation and to be the voice of ndi Enugu East at the 10th Senate.
The host Cordinator of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Nkanu East LG Chapter; Mazi Comr. Humphrey Edeh and the national youth leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in their different speeches extolled the personality of High Princess Ada Ogbu, and urged everyone to jettison partisan politics and support the right candidate, affirming that Ada Ogbu stands tall among others.
