
The Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Eminence Dr Eberechukwu Oji, has congratulated the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, wishing the newly crowned monarch success on the throne of his forebears.
Eze Aro’s message was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary of Arochukwu Royal Palace, Mazi Ugo Okoro, at the weekend.
According to the statement, the Abia State monarch also conveyed the felicitations of his family, and the good people of Arochukwu ancient kingdom to their counterparts in the ancient town of Yoruba land on the coronation of the 46th Alaafin, urging them to cooperate with the monarch for the growth and development of Oyo Kingdom.
The statement further quoted Eze Eberechukwu Oji as saying:
“We rejoice with you, and all the good people of Oyo Kingdom, as you ascend the throne of your forebears, to reign and better the lives of your citizens.
“Most importantly, we pray that your reign shall be one filled with peace, unity, progress and prosperity.
“Once again, I congratulate you on your coronation as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom, he added.
