Factional chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Enugu State Chief Ugochukwu Agballah has denied engaging in a fist fight with a party member during a party function.
A video, published on this platform showed Agballah being welcomed to the function, only for him to rush off and engage someone in what seemed like a fisticuff.
In the video, other party members were seen trying to stop the squabble, and the party leader was later seen walking back to the table.
But denying the incident, he told our reporter that the incident was misconstrued as he was only trying to block soldiers from leading an unwelcome member of the APC onto the arena.
“He was told not to come there but he decided to use soldiers to force himself in. So I had to rush there and engage them. He can’t come to our meeting, and I stopped him by telling the soldiers they cannot bring someone not welcome to our meeting. That’s what happened, he said’.
