
The umbrella community organization that unites all the people of the Oba kingdom in Anambra State, the Oba Patriotic Union, has felicitated the new traditional ruler of the community, Engr Sir Augustine Chinedu Emelobe who defeated his opponents to become the new Igwe. The organization spoke through its President-General,
Engr Anthony Uzor Ejiofor.
The message, conveyed through electronic message with media men, Oba Patriotic Union hailed the new king, whom they said had a resounding victory, from the primaries up to the very last polls, the election proper.

and Nze Nwabueze Emebo
(Ezeogo) Secretary-General and read read as follows;
“In the name of all Oba indigenes, we hereby congratulate the new Igwe-elect of Oba, Engr Sir Augustine Chinedu Emelobe, Ezeokpoko the second, for his emergence both at the primaries and in the elections proper where he had a resounding victory. It’s a remarkable event on the 15th of March 2025, when history was made.
“We pray that God will endow him with wisdom, understanding and compassion. His reign in Oba shall be a remarkable one. He shall consolidate on where the first Ezeokpoko dropped the mantle.
“We enjoin all the good people of Oba to give him maximum support, even as we keep him in our prayers to remain steadfast.
“We ask God to continue to chart his footsteps, and we have every confidence in him that Oba will continue to move to greater heights. Once again, congratulations to our Igwe.
“We also appreciate our solution Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, Odenigbo Anambra State, for his magnanimity in supporting us.
“Long live Oba Patriotic Union,
