Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, was among top dignitaries that graced the burial of the father of the Chairman, Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESiRS), Emmanuel Ekene Nnamani, Livinus Ogbu Nnamani, in his hometown, Eziama Amechi Idodo, amidst pomp and splendor.
The burial ceremony which took place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 witnessed parade of different dancers and masquerades as big names in Enugu politics, business men and women, ICAN association, ESiRS staff and many others dressed in uniforms storm the venue to pay their last respect to the deceased.
Other dignitaries were Commissioner for Transport, Enugu State, Dr. Obi Ozor, former Nkanu East Local Government Chairman, Frank Anioma, Village Chiefs, royal fathers and host of others.
The guests were entertained and fed to their satisfaction as the community stood still for the burial ceremony which would remain a talk of the town for months to come.
