Engineer Lawrence Ozoemena Ezeh, the Prince of Mburubu is one of the contenders for the Nkanu-East and West Federal Constituency for the 2023 general elections.
Strong indications show that Engineer will be clinching the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party for Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency.
Ezeh was a frontline contestant in the 2019 elections, when he battled for the Enugu East Senatorial seat.
The Port Harcourt-based engineer lost his father, the Igwe Ozulumba 1 of Mburubu last December, and has been engrossed with preparations for the king’s burial. Therefore, while politicking has been ongoing, Ezeh had kept mum about his plans in politics.
However, posters and billboards bearing his image had started springing up in Nkanuland, clearly indicating that he has finally thrown his political hat into the ring.
Being a strong candidate in Enugu State politics, Ezeh is seen as the man for the job, and is expected to clinch the ticket for People’s Democratic Party (PDP). This is no surprise, Prince Lawrence Ezeh has carved a niche for himself by providing basic amenities to Nkanu people, in the form of road rehabilitation, electricity, scholarships, etc.
